Need A New Watch?

Music soothes the savage beast.

Music adds magic to a dull, boring, unimaginative existence. If you can't change your circumstances in life, you can change your attitude about your them. Music can accelerate that shift, so buy a CD fromQuartknee.com!

The Teaches of PeachesTeaches of Peaches [Bonus Disc]

Originally from Canada, Peaches first rose to prominence in the Berlin Beat Box scene of the mid-90s. Her combination of raunchy, funny lyrics with really tight beat box programming collides with punk rock sensibilities for the freshest sound I've heard in a long time. This little fruit is RIPE. "F**K the Pain Away" was her first single. Followed by "AA XXX". You can also preview her songs, "Rock Show" "Set It Off" and the Big Beat influenced, "Cum Undun" If you want to hear the buzzy, contagious, "Diddle my Skittle" or the introspective, spacey, tripped out "Lovertits", you can buy the CD, "Teaches of Peaches"

The Streets

Rudimentary raps and an inauthentic voice are easily overlooked issues when listening to The Streets. Their conversational rap style has been so innovative that their first single reinvigorated the whole South London House scene which has been coasting a bit since the filter disco thing hit about five years ago. I think that it will be quite awhile before the US is ready for The Streets and it looks like they're positioning themselves for the college radio market. Speed Garidge hasn't really found a foothold here as most Americans prefer the slower, more completely soulful stylings of the original Garage style House or the more upfront distinctions between rap and R&B.

My friends make music too.

Since I have this really great platform to promote my pals, I figured I would create a page to showcase their talents...
