Week One

This week's theme was "Reconnecting" because I reconnected with my twin sister and our disco heritage.

EVENT: KEAR COMES ROUND
She was just passing through town with her husband on their way to a birthday party. We still managed to make time for brunch and a bit of shopping. It was nice seeing her in person again. We've been watching ABC's hit show, "Lost" together via telephone every week when we're in the same time zone so it's not like I'm feeling deprived of her attention or anything.

EVENT: 'REMEMBER' THE PARTY's BLACK PARTY
WOW, I've spent a great deal of time chatting up this event since their last party. I even passed out flyers - FOR FREE because it's really rekindled my love of disco and dance music...

Week Two

This week's theme "catching up " because my British Texan friend from Long Island will visit me

EVENT: PETE's VISIT
I was so excited to see Pete again that it didn't matter that we didn't do much more than laze about watching movies and chatting...

Week Three

This week's theme was "A New Begining " because I went back to my day job in a new capacity.

NEWS: MY "FIRST" DAY
I've been working as a temp since April, but this weeked marked my transition to a full-time employee. My responsabilities will increase a little as will the expectations, but I feel I'm up for the challenge and obviously they like what I've done so far, so I just have to build upon my solid record so far.

Week Four

This week's theme was "SPOOKY" because Halloween and Samhain marked another turning of the seasons.

EVENT: HALLOWEEN
I didn't do anything special for Halloween this year but the day after halloween gave me a chance to stock up on cheap wigs and costumes just in case...
