School
I did really well on last week's quiz. I turned in my term
paper and if I get ten out of ten points on this one as I
did on the first one, I'll be making a B+ going into the final.
Since he's working on a straight percentage of total points
awarded, I could still pull an A grade. Next week is the final
exam and the final class session. I'll be so chuft to see
the back-side of this semester!

Cluelessly Re-inventing Oneself
If you lived on Planet Beverly Hills, would your given name
do the job? Would it project your brilliance, fantasticity,
and overall highly-evolved sense of taste and style? More
importantly, are you named after anyone famous? Just in case
you're not, we've built a machine that can translate your
name into a version more suitable for the Clueless world.

identity online.

Lawsuit to Ban Oreo Cookies
Finally! A
common sense lawsuit that will force industrial "food"
producers to do the right thing. With heart disease and cancers
at an all-time high, the general population has to wake up
to the fact that the land, sea, air and food supply must be
contributing factors. The fact that a tobacco company owns
the company that makes Oreo Cookies should be a big tip-off
to the fact that they don't care about healthy consumers.

Eclipse
There was supposedly a fantastic lunar eclipse on Thursday.
There was too much light polution and fog for me to see it
properly, but it looked great on television.

New $20 Dollar Bill
In the same week that the dollar hit new lows on the world
currency market, the US Treasury announced the addition of
peach and blue colours to the $20 bill. They say the new security
measures will thwart counterfiters. Is it a subtle attempt
to insinuate that the millions of dollars in cash found in
Iraq were actually counterfit and NOT obtained legally when
Bush the elder and Rumsfeld paid off Sadam in the 80s and
early 90s?
This turn of events prompted me to google the new bill to
see what colours they added to the new design. I couldn't
find it, but I did find a great new conspiracy
theory about the $20 Dollar Bill.

The
Age of Imperialism
Illegitimate Empire
The Shrub's administration is still trying to install
their puppets into the 'free Iraq'. If religous extremists
can take of the United States of America, why would we expect
that they couldn't do the same thing in Iraq? Is it just a
skewed perception of the religions involved or a real lack
of understanding about the power and true nature of the role
of religion in human society.
Support for Blair errodes further
UK redevelopment director, Claire Short steps down accuses
Blair of lying about the UN's involvement in post war Iraq.
Says the US isn't living up to its stated goals and is acting
in a heavy handed manner to marginalize the UN. It was also
a scathing attack on Blair's mgmt style says he's too obsessed
with his placement in history.
