Workin'
It
The Sharper Image offered to extend my contract through the
end of the month, so it looks like I've staved off the dole
for a few more weeks. I must admit that after the last two
weeks, I'll be quite elated to have a respite from TSI. With
only a Wednesday holiday, both weeks have felt like they were
packed with double Mondays...ugh!
Now that the holiday hoopla is startng to wane, things should
get easier. Anyway, that's what I tell myself when I have
to get out of bed at 6am.

School
We're still on our holiday break from school. I'm taking
a Monday class and a Saturday one too so I'm doing my best
to enjoy my weekends of freedom while they last.

NYE
This year, the Gregorian Calendar's transition from one year
to the next was a pretty mellow affair. Instead of the usual
greetings of "Have a Happy New Year" I often heard
"Have a Happier New Year". Seems as if I'm not the
only one glad to see the backside of 2002...

Drums
of War
This week, the weapons inspectors requested in Iraq requested
a helicopter because they still haven't found any "Weapons
of Mass Destruction." Meanwhile, over in North Korea:
Inspectors are kicked out of the country so they can start
building weapons of mass destruction.
There isn't any oil in North Korea, and the shrub has no
personal vendetta against their leader, so his administration
is going to continue his "Iraq Attack" no matter
what.
