Earthquakes
You'd think that as a Californian, I'd be used to earthquakes
and I am. So used to them in fact that I didn't even really
notice the one we had on Monday. Until Irwin emailed me and
Puppy rang up, I thought it was a lorry driving fast on the
bridge next to my building...

(Vegan) Christmas Miracle
For years I've suspected that the US Beef Industry has been
hiding the level of disease they pump into the American food
supply. This week the first admitted case of BSE, or Mad Cow
Disease was reported in Washington State. Shares of McDonalds
"Restaurants" and other fast food chains sank on
the news. Why would I call this a Christmas Miracle? It's
miraculous in that people will be forced to examine their
diets and dependence on the pain and suffering of other sentient
beings. Plus, no one has died yet, though the disease does
have a long incubation period...

Winter
Solstice
I basically did most of my Solstice celebrating last Friday
night. But you can read the highlights on the holiday's page
in my events section...

Norad Tracks Santa Claus
I can't believe how slick this site is. I love that their
past highlights only cover Stonehenge and San Francisco.
Obviously our government will stop at nothing to lie about
their activities. The most curious thing about this is the
multi-lingual aspect of the site, but I suppose that reflects
Canada's influence...

Christmas
My pal V-Ness prepared a great vegan feast and I had a great
time with the SLO Posse gathered round her pad...
Holiday Hibernation
Leave it to Louis to inspire a love fest at the holidays...
