Sometimes its easy to forget
I know I take a lot of things for granted because I live
in San Francisco. I know Queer people are still considered
like fourth class citizens in the United States and even in
San Francisco people are still discriminated against because
of whom they love.
Memorials are important because it's so easy to get wrapped
up in day-to-day activities and some people deserve more than
that.

Homophobia isn't history yet
This was a temporary memorial set up in Soho Square in Central
London, UK. It commemorates the victims of the nail bomb attack
on the Admiral Duncan Pub, a popular gay pub in Soho, not
far from the square. Two of my friends were slightly injured
in the attack. This was the second in a series of three bombings
that were motivated by intolerance, ignorance and hate.
