Gay Day Entertainment @ Great America
The Survivor ride was new since the last time I was at Great America but it looked totally lame so I stuck with my faves. People watching is always entertaining at these types of events, especially when the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are flying around on swings. Click the photo below to see my video:
Blackstone seemed skeptical of the Invertigo but he survived it and even claimed it was "fun"
Taylor Dayne on the Main Stage
1980's Freestyle Crossover Taylor Dayne put on a fabulous show on the main stage. It sounded like she did most if not all of the vocals live and it was a very energetic performance that culminated in a rousing rendition of "Tell It To My Heart." I managed to get close enough to the stage during "With Every Beat of my Heart" to catch a snippet on video. Click the image below to see it:
Psycho Mouse
This was hands down my favourite ride this year by far. We rode it twice, once during the day and again at night. Ggreg Taylor got me to ride it for the first time in 2003 and his silly antics this time round made it just as fun...
