I'd never been on this ride and I was surprised by how fun it was. Like all Disneyland rides, it was built around a conceptual story but this one is unique in that it also encorporates a game. Each car is equipped with a "laser gun" and you have to shoot various targets as you move through the ride. The competative element just takes it to a whole nother level...

There's something oddly cool about this ride. Maybe because they haven't really made any substantive changes to it over the years. It's more than a little cliched and racist in parts but the song is so catchy, upbeat and incessant that one is sure to miss those parts.

Obviously we spent the majority of the weekned waiting in lines for everything - the rides, the food, the bathrooms. If you want to do anything at Disneyland be prepared to wait around to do it. Since I've been here before, I knew it was important to bring some fun friends to make the time pass quickly - and it sure did. Even standing around waiting can be fun when you're with the right people.
