Basically, someone gets the word out to have all the LGBT people wear red shirts at Disneyland on the same day.

I remember going to the gay days at Disneyland way back in the '80s and just like then, this remains an unofficial event with outside promoters setting a date and encouraging people to wear a red shirt so we could find each other.

With a combination of tradition and the Internet, the event has grown to become a massively attended event - here are some highlights of our experiences this year.

This was a parking lot the last time I was at Disneyland. We weren't alone in wondering how lame this place is. Two weeks after we returned home, Disney announced plans to revamp California Adventure to make it more appealing. Some of the rides were fun and I hope they fix the rest of it... (more)
