2005 PRIDE PALS
The best part of celebrating "Gay Freedom Day" is running into friends both old and new. Here are a few I saw this year. |

 What A Drag
Finding Ggreg Taylor (Above) dressed as NAMBLA the Clown isn't so unusual anymore. Finding a queen dressed in plastic popsicles (right) or vibrant plastic flowers is (left).

You Again!?!
Toby has got to be one of the last peopel I ever expected to run into at a gay pride event. Not just because he is straight, but because I thought he moved away ages ago. He is the first person I met in San Francisco, actually I kinda met him before I moved to town because my twin sister met him, told me all about him and let me talk to him on the phone. Back then we kinda looked a like - we both had blond mohawks - flash forward 18 years and we still kinda look alike as we're now featuring a scruffy wind swept look.

You Again (2)
It's amazing that I run into anyone I know at all considering how many tens of thousands of people attend this event every year. Even more amazing is running into friends from out of town. I met Tony at San Jose's Pride event and even ran into him at Pink Saturday. I found him at SF Pride on the wander with a completely new crew:
