2005 Lazy Bear Holiday

This is the first time that Lazy Bear has branched out beyond Guernville and the Lazy Bear Weekend in July. Over T-day Weekend, the bears got lazy in Palm Springs.

Pool Parties & Events

Much like LBW in Guernville, LBH in Palm Springs was organized around pool parties, events and fund raisers.

Outside of Saturday's pool party at the Villas Resort, I found this cowboy riding up with his horse. He said the horse had never heard such loud noises and he wanted the animal to get used to it so he wouldn't freak out with other loud noises. The horse seemed to be handling all of the commotion and noise quite well and he even let me pet his nose.

Reconnecting With Friends

I was shocked to run into Mark & Arthur, my friends from Atlanta. Though now it seems they hail from Albuquerque. Turns out they were staying in the Cher suite at the All World's Resort. Arthur plays competitve tennis and I met the lads in London when I lived there a few years ago. I've run into them in such disperate places but such is the way of the international gay tennis tourneys.

Below is a pic of me and my pal Timo Supremo. He used to live in SF and since he moved to San Diego, we've tried to keep in touch. We hung out for a while at Sunday's pool party and a beer bust at The Barracks. We both had it rough for a couple of years and it seems once again things have turned a corner for both of us. I'm so glad he's doing well and still looking so hot after such a radical haircut.
