2004 Christmas

I didn't do anything special to celebrate the Solstice this year. I had to take a final exam and finish the semester on that day, so perhaps completing the school term is how I marked the transition of the seasons.

A Low-Key Christmas

I put in my two week notice at work and I was really looking forward to just having an extra day off to be away from the stress of preparing for my successor. I spent much of the three-day Christmas weekend working on this site while watching TV... or more acurately listening to the TV -punctuated by moments of visual connection with it. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I watched the History Channel for 14 hours straight and now I probably know way more about the bible and Christmas than I probably have a right to.
