2004 Up Yer Alley Street Fair
This year, I turned up a bit later than usual but I still
had time to stop often to chat with friends both old and new...
With all of the new construction in the area, the event was
smaller than usual and it's future seems unsure.

 Usual
Entertainments
I don't know if I'm too jaded from living in SF too long,
or if I'm just borred by the whole SM as entertainment thing
but I just wasn't into taking photos of all the spankings,
whipping and bondage going on around me. There were more naked
people running round this year but that may change once the
"Luxury" condos and lofts under construction get
completed and the new tennants move in. SF has a horrible
history of long standing cultural institutions being pushed
out of existance by lame-ass people moving in and complaining
about things have existed for years. Perhaps with a new district
6 supervisor that won't happen to Up Yer Alley. Finger's Crossed.

I haven't seen Ian for a couple of years. We used to work
out together but have both switched to new gyms.
|
It was a pleasant surprise to find my pal Jerry wandering
through the crowd. He promotes a club night in London with
my pal Richard who went back to the UK already.
|
I found my South Bay pals wandering the crowds as well. Jeremy
was traveling so I missed him at the SJ
Pride event and haven't seen him since May.

 Clubbers
Halfway down the alley, I found several friends who are still
fixtures on the SF Club scene. At left Dave & Jose from
"Fag Fridays" and on the right, Juanita Moore.

 Rollover
Up Yer Alley is a totally queer event and I've often heard
gay men say it's "too gay". Just in case you agree
with that, I've decided to save the more adult pictures for
people who roll their pointers over these two pictures.
