2004 SF "Pride"

This year, I had more time to wander. I was on my own for most of the day, but of course, I had to stop often to chat with friends both old and new... like my little pal Sister Roma (at right)

Not Quite Ready

Much like Michael in this picture, I wasn't quite ready for a huge Pride weekend. I was a bit busy with work and rushing round to the Film Festival and by the time the weekend arrived, I was more in the mood for a lie-in than a wander, but I did manage to get down to the Civic Center about 1pm and found a few friends...

I haven't seen Eric for ages. He's been spending so much time being a dad these days. It was great to see him out having fun.

I was so surprised to hear Foxee Brown working the mic at the dance stage. He stopped long enough to chat with me and catch up a bit.

I thought I might see Marvina at some point and sure enough, I found him on his way to the Eagle at the end of the day.

Make-Up

The MAC make-up booth was buzzing as several stylists were putting the finishing touches on a couple of models. Besides make-up, they were adorned in sequins to give the appearance of clothes, but the lady at left is wearing nothing but MAC make-up.

Breathless Busts Out

My pals from Club Faith were dancing on the "Soul of Pride Stage" Their choriography was tight and they always put on a nice show...
