People Are Pretty In Pink

Once again people put on the pink. Though I didn't see as many featuring the color this year, there was enough pink about to remind us of the even't theme.

I've been
here before

This isn't the first time that I've attended this event.

2004 Pink Saturday

This year, I was on my own wandering through the crowd. It wasn't too long before I ran into one of the creators of this event, my pal Ggreg. He was on his way to our pal Tom's birthday party around the corner. I had to stop by with him to check it out. When I returned to Castro Street, the Pink Saturday Party was in full swing!

A Tipsy Puppy & Pal

I was hanging out in the intersection with Irwin, Martin and Bill and I thought we were easy to spot but it took Puppy ages to get to us. After a few more furtive phone calls, Puppy and his new pal Len finally found us. They stayed just long enough to enjoy a round of pizza slices and at which point, I split and went back to the birthday party...

Freedom Band Played On...

Early in the evening, the Gay & Lesbian Freedom Band had staked out a ring of street. The picture at left shows their majorette in a pink vest. The green thing he's holding is actually a baton with some glow sticks attached that he twirled up in the air. They all put on a great show and I stayed for about four songs...

Finding Tall Guys

I met William and his short friends. At 6ft9, he was easy for me to see in the crowd.
