2004 Chinese New Year
Like every year on the Lunar Calendar, this year is associated
with an animal sign of the zodiac. This year it's the Monkey's
year. Everything is supposed to be possible in the year of
the Monkey as the mischievous chimp urges us to gamble, speculate
and pursue inventive options. In politics, high finance, and
business, bluffing will become common as everyone tries to
get a better deal by outsmarting others.
Monkey years are very progressive because all are supposed
to be carried forward by the Monkey's talent for learning
and advancement. Business and the economy are sure to thrive
under the Monkey's cunning and optimistic influence.
The United States was born under the year of the Monkey in
1776, which may explain why this country's fantastic growth
in such a relatively short period of time.

Is This Me?
My sister and I were born in the year of the Monkey. I know
what you're thinking, you've seen my birthday page and realized
that we were born in 1969 which means we must be Roosters...
but the Chinese New Year happens AFTER our birthday in January.
There's only a rough correlation between the lunar calendar
and the Gregorian Calendar used in the West.
Monkey's are supposed to be originals and not apt to ape
others. Marvelous yet displaying a mishievous sense of humour.
Highly intelligent, witty, quick and well-liked. Practical
with an open curiosity. Monkeys do not like to waste time
and are an asset on any team.
