Keeping things safe & secure

I signed on to organize the safety team and spent the whole weekend running around making sure that everything and everyone was safe and secure. Beyond a few sun burns, everyone stayed safe and nothing was really stolen or damaged so it seems like I was really successful!

2004 Hairrison Weekend

My pals Ggreg and Pete decided to create the world's first bear street fair and I got roped in to help.

Hairrison Makes a Big Splash

We thought it would be a fun weekend and San Francisco's first new Street Fair in over ten years... little did we know that it would be twice as successful as we had planned.

The Bears Gone Wild Guys

Saturday's pool party was sponsored by Bears Gone Wild.com. About 500 guys turned out to drink beer and meet some bears. The atmosphere was so relaxed and festive all day. The BGW guys passed out temporary tattoos

Sunday's Pool Party

Sunday's pool party had an even bigger turn-out, fueled in large part from the 5,000+ people out on Harrison Street who were brave enough to venture into Camp Hairrison to check things out.

Guys came to this event from as far away as Europe and Australia.

I met these Sacramento guys last spring at Great America and I was surprised to find them wandering the crowd.
