Need A New Watch?

2004 Castro Street Fair

I wandered around on my own for most of the day. Of course, I found quite a few foxes, friends, and friendlies.

Castro Again

I'd like to think that it was the overcast day and the subdued energy that cold wind brings to these types of events... of course it could be that I've just come to the end of my enjoyment of this event. It felt like I was just going through the movements this year, without seeing any of the really fun people that helped me enjoy past years, I guess my heart just wasn't into it. I had an OK time though, it wasn't quite as fun as past years...

Finding Matt In the Crowd

I met Matt the weekend before this event when he attended the party where I was working security. He had just arrived in SF and he is tall enough to find quite readily in any crowd. We chatted for a while, but I think my being taller than him made him feel a bit uneasy at times. Especially when I got more attention from strangers pointing out his sudden, relative shortness.

Marvina's Return

Still working the streets after all these years, Marvina was clocked quite a few times socializing with gutter snipes and trannies all over town plus a few hotties, but I think he imported them. I managed to stop him long enough to pose for this picture before his friends pulled him away again...

Steven's Name is now 'Secret'

About ten years ago, some drunk guy was trying to hit on Steven and he wasn't having any of it... the guy asked for his name and he said it was secret... and I've called him that ever since!

SF Cheer was once again "performing" in the intersection of Castro and 18th Streets. Maybe I'm too jaded, but it always seems to be the same songs and the same moves and the same begging for money afterwards.
