Need A New Watch?

Thanksgiving

This year I turned down several invitations because I thought I was going to spend the day in marin. That plan fell through, so it was another quiet T-day at home...

V-Ness

Last year, I went to a T-Day do in the Tiki Lounge. This year, V-Ness went back home for for the holiday to let her parents meet her new man. She'll be around for Christmas though so maybe I'll see her then.

A Clean Sweep on T-Day

My neighbour was kind enough to wake me up at 6:30 AM and after about 40 minutes of trying to go back to sleep, I gave in to an early start on the day and turned on the TV. Very surprised to see my pal Lady Bunny on a Britney Spears music special so early in the morning, but I suppose the channel is on NYC time. As I puttered round the kitchen fixing up some brekky, I found TLC was running a "Clean Sweep" marathon and kept it on all morning. I watched about 6 or 7 episodes, each featuring another fat American couple bemoaning their largesse. It made me realize that just being able to accumulate clutter is something to be thankful for, as is the ability to purge it.
