Up Your Alley The broad demographic seemed to be skewed a little younger this year and the naked ratio was higher. The weather was awesome, sunny AND warm for once. A few people mentioned a rumour that this is the last Up Your Alley fair on Dore Alley because the parking lot is set to become a bunch of lofts. I don't believe it because parking is so rare in San Francisco and the market for lofts is so poor right now. There are tons of empty lofts about a block away in every direction, so why would the planning commission allow it even if the developer was dumb enough to try it?... everyone knows how corrupt the planning commission is after Willie Brown's appointments, so anything is possible.
