Tricia's Visit

Her daughter Jayde just turned one a couple of weeks ago, and I've never had the chance to see her, so when Trish made plans to visit her cousin in New Jersey and some friends in Indiana, she decided to swing out to San Francisco and spend some time with me as well.

We spent the better part of Monday wandering round San Francisco looking for gold medallions in the sidewalk while reading a guide book about the gold rush era and the Barbary Coast.

Uncle Bunny's Beauty

Jayde got so much attention everywhere we went. Her eyes sparkle so much when she smiles. She does a little dance when she hears music and she claps her hands. My attempts to teach her patty cake proved a bit fruitless, but at least she's got the neck roll part of the cabbage patch dance down quite well! While she likes being the center of attention, she stops smiling when she sees the camera come out. That will have to change if she plans on staying so cute.
