| 2002 Events: Queer Film Festival |

The first film, "Plushies & Furries" was by far the best short of the festival. It was disturbing in a humourous and light hearted way and garnered the most attention in the Q&A session after the screenings. The other films were very well done. The second one screened, "Turn Me On" delved into the history of the vibrator and while it was fascinating and informative, my intellectual curiosity only goes so far when vaginal requirements are concerned. I found myself nodding off a bit when the film got too mired in pontificating about female sexuality. The theme song and titles were very imaginative and fun. The third film and the one that gives this collection its title was a lot more engaging. I noticed that almost all of the 'experts' interviewed had green eyes and I left wondering if green eyed people masterbate more than the rest of us. |
