Every year, on the night before Pride™ The Sisters Of Perpetual Indulgence organize a massive block party and fundraiser called PINK SATURDAY

This year, my pal Eddie and I were watching back to back films at the film festival before Pink Saturday started. Betweenthe films, I snuck out to see the Dyke March arrive in the Castro and because SF is the size of a postage stamp, I ran into a few friends along the way...

I told my pal Eddie about the fun I had last year and he was eager to check it out.

Tradition

It just wouldn't be a Pride® Weekend without seeing my A'dam crew. This year, it was just Lindsay and Mikey because unlike last year, Sam had to work so he missed the fun.

Hey it's not New Orleans!

I guess lesbians walk slowly or something because people were getting a bit bored at the Chevron station waiting for the Dyke March to arrive. Lindsay's little friend was a little tipsy and eager to agitate the crowd on the Cafe's balcony above us. She kept screaming show us your tits and someone on the balcony did... then there was about ten minutes of taunting back and forth. At Mikey's insistence, I documented the occasion. (Hey Mikey, for the blackmail photo, just roll your cursor over the pic.)

Pimping the Profile

It was great seeing my pal from Los Angeles, Marvin throughout the weekend. He was featuring that "Thug's Day Wear" look to watch the Dyke March and from this pose, you'd never guess his nickname is Marvina.

Not Extinct

After the film, Eddie and I had a wander and we ran into Ken Woodard. Apparently, he didn't like the dinosaur designation I had in the caption to last year's photo.

For the record, let me clarify, that in this year's photo, we're ALL dinosaurs in the pic and like the Sea Turtles we may be endangered, but we're still around and alive enough to have fun.
