Happy New Year!

I really hope and pray that this year will be better than the last one.

Small is the new big

The newspapers are filled with articles about how few really big parties there are this year and how most people are planning to attend smaller, cozier parties at places close to home.

My pal Billie was staying in with her kids, while her husband Jonah DJed at 26 Mix and she invited me to pop round. Once I arrived, we cooked up a little NYE fun.

January is a totally arbitrary way to begin a calendar. It has no corelation to any natural event and I think in some way, that contributes to the disconnection that most peopel feel to the natural world.

A lot of people came over and someone cranked up the tunes. It seemed a proper club style atmosphere, except it wasn't dark and there was food. We all made a toast at the stroke of midnight and greeted the New Year with a groove.
