Folsom Street Fair "Entertainment"

There are always lots of interesting things to keep people entertained at the Folsom Street Fair...

Stage "Gals"

I got to the fair kinda early and walked by the 7th St. Stage. This tranny band had the sparse crowd rocking. I usually don't like that kind of music, but these gurls were pretty good.

Ouch

I didn't take a lot of pictures this year because it all seemed so tame. Gone are the piss slaves working the porta-loos. Gone are the leather midgets and fisting in the street. It might just be me. Maybe I'm too jaded or perhaps I've lived in San Francisco so long that now I'm inured to it all so that nothing seems shocking to me anymore... This little scene wasn't very shocking, but it was intriguing. Interacial S&M scenes carry so much mental, emotional and historical baggage that I had to stop walking and take it in a little. That's what the Folsom Street Fair is all about, consensual, public exhibitionism for voyeristic outsiders with a low threshold for pain.

If you're easily offended or you have a small, insecure, humanistic deity that gets really angry at seeing people happy and having fun, you might not want to click through this section of my site.
