While we wandered through the crowd, Brad and I found gender activist, Veronica Cauley. She was instrumental in the passage of equal health benefits for transgendered individuals in San Francisco and was just in San Jose to enjoy the event. It looked like she was succeeding...

Starting over (again)

It's always a pleasure running into Tim. I hadn't seen him since we had so much fun together at Southern Decadence last year. I think we'll be running into each other a lot less because he's moving to San Diego. While I am bummed to have him leave the Bay Area, I'm excited that he's been proactive in reinventing himself. Stories of transformation and redemtion always inspire me and I wish Tim all the best in his new life.

I was so shocked to see my friend Junior. We've known each other since the mid-80s but lost touch when I moved to London and he moved to NYC in 1996. For all the wild times we shared, it's really great to find that we're both still alive and not in jail.

Nurse Jim got a little too much sun but said he didn't mind it too much. (yeah wait 'til Monday!)
