A lonely SpeakerDynomite Dancers

The Dance Area entertainment had local DJs. I think they were a mix of club and radio DJs. They didn't have the times posted and I saw Blackstone's name in the program guide, but I never saw him at the event. We kept going back to that corner and at first the music was a really upfront deep House style. The next time we went by they were playing soca and club papi had the crowd whipped into a fervor. We went back again to catch the last bits of Janice Robinson singing her #1 hit "Dreamer". I tried to get a pic, but people started bum rushing the stage. Her first solo album is out now >Color Within Me: BUY IT NOW

Thea Austin was in the crowd. She did the vocals on the top ten hit,"Rhythm is a Dance" by Snap!. A CD single of both of Snap!'s hits is available: "Power" > BUY IT NOW. I guess she left the band and I missed it if she performed.

Judy TenutaMy Favourite Act of the day, Judy Tenuta!

My generation missed the whole Judy Garland thing, but we have our own Judy to adore and cherish AND SHE'S A PETITE FLOWER! She demands to be worshipped like A GODDESS by all lesbitarians and studsicles EVERYWHERE! She is just so hilarious!

Other Mainstage Acts:

Amber

Cheer SF

RuPaul

Eveylyn "Champagne" King

The San Jose Public Library had their book van OUT to entertain folks the old fashioned way.

Patsy Kline and the Memphis G-Spots played a short, but very entertaining set. I've seen them often over the years because they're a local band. They're great, Arturo IS Patsy!

Attention Butt Pirates and Lesbetarians: Judy live at the C.S.W. Gay Pride Festival
