Puppy's Irish pal IanIan was shopping for a new taste sensation

He'd never had a corn dog before (they deep fry Snickers™ bars in Ireland, but not corn bread wrapped around a hot dog). We stopped by the "Coaster Corn Dog" but they were closed. He did manage to find a raspy looking one at the food court, but he didn't fancy it. He had couple of bites and threw the rest away.

Q was shopping for a souvenir

Unlike Puppy and Ian, I got a few phone numbers, and brought my own vegan treats so I was on the hunt for something a bit more unusual, yet equally frivolous.

Joel tracing out my signThey let you watch

While Puppy and Ian were queued up to fly, I found a souvenir shop and decided to get a sign made. The guy that made my sign is the manager of the shop and his name is Joel.

He makes key chains and signs out of wood. Joel says he's got the best job in the whole park. After watching him make my sign, I can see why he would make that claim. It looked really fun. He gets paid to play with wood while the other employees get paid to watch other people play with stuff.

First he traces the letters onto a piece of wood.

He paints it in layers with spray paint and has a blow dryer set up to dry it.

I got my sign with a base so it will stand up on my desk at the day job.
