Takin' It To The Streets

The Dyke March was started a few years ago because Freedom Day was increasingly being co-opted by gay men as they turned it into "Pride™"

This event is all about female empowerment and celebrates grass-roots activism and the re-emerging Spirit of the Goddess.

Right behind the first banner, was a slow moving float. and just as we thought it was a really weak turn-out, the masses made it round a corner and we were flooded with femininity...

I was attending the Film Festival at the Roxie Cinema and the staff delayed the last film so we could support our sisters in the streets.
