I stayed home, I watched all the events on tellie and leaned out the window to watch the fireworks. I planned on going out about 1 am and get to the End-Up in time to hear Blackstone spin some records. Earthgurl called to say "Happy New Year" and we just talked on the phone until about 4am! It's better in bed Couldn't be bothered to go to any of the really big parties. The Basement Jaxx were in town, but I've seen them loads of times in London and couldn't justify the expense, not to mention the aggravation of having to deal with all the drunk straight people acting stupid. New Year's Eve is like amateur night. All the people who never go out, suddenly feel compelled to do so. They forget when to say when, so I'd rather just stay home. Some people went out though... Check out this video of the Red Melon boat party - it almost looks as fun as the summer boat parties I went to last year... |
