In the Autumn of 2000, the BBC (British Broadcasting Company)
did a series called "Global Club Culture" and devoted
an episode to San Francisco. They interviewed me and NONE
of my British friends taped it for me!
In 1999, the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) produced
a documentary called "Rebels of the Underground"
it features two songs by FOXGLUV as well as footage of the
band and an interview with vocalist, Urth Gurl.

I
Used to be World Famous
According to some reports, I'm one of the first queer ravers
in America and was instrumental in bringing acid house, rave
and the global club culture to America. I was involved in
the production of such seminal SF events as the first rave
in SF: Recess; as well as Toon Town, Wicked and the Full Moon
Massive (AKA: Full Moon Raves) A lot of the straight media
in the U.S. erased the gay elements. Most of the gay media
were totally clueless or ignored the phenomenon until the
white, middle class, muscle queens got into it and organised
the first all-gay raves, known as Circuit Parties. It was
hard finding material from this stage of my life. I really
like the photo of Bald Gina and I on the cover of the SF Bay
Guardian from 91 or 92, so if I can find a copy and scan it,
I'll post it. Until then, these will have to suffice:

i-D
Magazine
The July 1992, Issue (#106) of London's i-D Magazine had
a cover story featuring the San Francisco Rave Scene. Toon
Town and Carefree were both profiled and I was interviewed
extensively.
