Need A New Watch?

Foxglüv

This band has changed and evolved so much in the last six years, it's really been hard to keep up with all the permutations. Their current sound suits them so much better than anything I've heard them do. I think that all the years of struggle and honing their craft will really start to pay off for them soon. If you're familiar with the Brand New Heavies club hit, "You Are the Universe", then you'll know where they're coming from. It's a fusion of rock-ish guitars, funky bass, uplifting, conciousness expanding lyrics and with the addition of Trevor's rap they've mixed it up with more hip-hop elements than EG could provide on her own.

iTunes has finally added Foxgluv's "Flame & Fortune" album. Click the graphic to listen to song samples or puchase the album through the itunes service.

What's Up With The Band?

In 1996, I moved to England to make music with Deva D and UrthGurl... Foxgluv is the result. Since we've been back in the states my involvement with the Foxies has tapered off considerably as Deva D and UrthGurl wanted to take the music in a harder, drum n bass style. They have since turned that around and gotten over it. In the process, they've been rebranded as DJ Kin and Lux D Coda. We've remained friends and things have really evolved for us over the years. They've been playing gigs and getting things polished up in the studio - to find out more about what they are up to, check out their Myspace page.

Foxy Fun in the Sun

In 1999 we performed at San Francisco's Pride Celebration. The main stage was set up in front of City Hall. We played towards the end of the day and got to hang out with Joan Baiez before our performance.

One adventure after another

One of the greatest Foxy days was the day the three of us went hunting for crop circles. We were still sort of a trio back then, and we discovered one in Winterbourne Basset, England. It was a muddy field, but the foxies and I trudged through the barley to explore it...Click to see our crop circle adventure
