When DJ Doc Martin told me he was coming up to SF to play at DNA for a party called, 'A' is for 'Alien', I knew I had to check it out... In 1992 some friends and I threw a Toon Town party called, UFO's Are Real. Imagine my surprise to find that my old pal Jenõ would be DJing. Sunshine was doin' a live vocal-live DJ mix performance thing that was pretty cool. He told me later that a couple of the tracks that I asked about were things he produced earlier in the week and was still tinkering with. The one that sampled, "Kiss you all over" sounded great to me! Doc played a good mix of new and old with a few 'hands in the air' numbers to punctuate his set... with a few familiar faces in the crowd thrown into the mix and all-in-all, it was an 'A' is for 'Awesome' night...

Due to a power failure and a failure to back-up my data properly, all of the pre-2k and many of the Y2K events pages and pictures were lost. If you were there, you lived it - if not BELIEVE THE HYPE! A new millenium is a good time to move on anyway...
