I had too much going on this year so I didn't check out the Freedom Rider's parade from the CalTrain Station to the Civic Center. Because of the influence of Barak Obama's inauguration it seemed like all of the usual hyperbolic political grandstanding reached a whole new level.

Due to a power failure and a failure to back-up my data properly, all of the pre-2k and many of the Y2K events pages and pictures were lost. If you were there, you lived it - if not BELIEVE THE HYPE! A new millenium is a good time to move on anyway...
